On Target

Cadets of 51 (Orton) Squadron Air Training Corps, have obtained Wing Marksmanship badges at their first attempt on the new cadet rifle L98 A2, at RAF Marham recently.

Cadet Logan Robinett and Cadet Patrick Wells were presented with their badges by Wing Staff Officer Squadron Leader Tony Bartlett. This will be the first time in over 4 years that marksmanship badges will now be worn by members of the Squadron.

Officer Commanding 51 (Orton) Squadron, Pilot Officer Angela Bone said, “the cadets have exceeded all expectations. The weekend was really to get them used to the new rifle prior to Easter Camp in April. Our thanks goes to WO Tammy Curwen ATC for running the range and all support staff that made the weekend so enjoyable.”
