Commanding Officer 51 (Orton) Squadron ATC

Flt Lt Andy Mason RAF VR(T)

"The Air Cadet Organisation must be one of the best youth organisations available to young people in the UK. Open to anyone between the ages of 13 and 18, it offers a range of activities unsurpassed by many organizations, and due to our strong relationship with the Royal Air Force, there are opportunities available to our cadets that would not normally be available to other young people.

If you do not fit the age criteria, older readers may be interested in volunteering your services to the Air Cadets as an Adult Staff Volunteer or as a member of our Civilian Committee. From the age of 20, you can join a Squadron in a supportive role, helping to develop and encourage the next generation of Air Cadets, and take advantage of similar opportunities available to the cadets.

To offer the best activities, support and training possible to the cadets requires a lot of hard work and enthusiasm from a great support team of Staff and Cadets.

If you are thinking about joining 51 (Orton) Squadron, I look forward to meeting you very soon. If you are just browsing then I hope that you have found what you are looking for and that you come back soon to see what we have been doing."
