The jumper is usually worn in the winter and is worn over "Wedgewood" and "Working Blue" shirts. It should be kept neat at all times, to do this you should:

De-Fluff it - You can do this by getting a piece of cellotape and wrap it around your fingers and pat the jumper.

Cut any loose threads - This can be achieved by getting a pair of scissors and cutting the bits of loose thread off, never pull the loose thread.

On the left and right shoulder of the jumper are velcro tabs:

The Left Tab - On 51 (Orton) Squadron we wear our flight identification tab. This distinguishes what flight you are in "RED" Or "BLUE".

The Right Tab - This is for your brassard, your brassard should be kept clean at all times and have no creases in it.
