Cadet Receives Award from Kriss Akabusi

Here at 51 Orton Squadron we are not only proud of what our cadets achieve through ATC but also their achievements outside of the squadron, it is with this in mind that we would like to congratulate one of our newest members Cadet Kieran Robinett.

Kieran was nominated for three sports awards recently, through his school Stanground Academy.  These nominations were for the following, Fair play, Under 14 Rugby Team, and Most Improved Sports Boy. It was to Kieran’s great shock and surprise that he received the award of Most Improved Sports Boy.  Kieran said, “I really did not expect this.  Even though I try my hardest as sport, and enjoy playing Badminton and Rugby I did not realise that I must have come such a long way.  What really made this award so special was the presentation of it by Kriss Akabusi.  Kriss is a lovely man who believes that everyone can achieve.”

Kriss is famous for his achievements in athletics and he is an inspiration to all youths, his dedication has shown that anyone can achieve anything that they put their mind to with hard work and dedication, which is what 51 Orton Squadron Cadets give to ATC.
